About the role: We are seeking a dedicated Engineer to work within the Competency Development group. As an Engineer for Westinghouse, you will report to the Lead of the Competency Development group. You will interface with the discipline technical leaders and help develop the Global Competency Model. This role provides a great opportunity to engage with many different area of the company.
This position is hybrid requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We can entertain candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Support competency development programs, such as maintaining seminar calendar of events, maintaining data into TeamTrac software and documentation, technical presentation creation, and AI-initiatives.
Support technical leaders across the company in the creation and maintenance their Book-of-Skills/Global Competency Model.
Perform testing of Competency Development software.
Develop functional requirements for Competency Development Software enhancements by working with partners and software development teams.
Develop software change communications and guidance documents.
Maintain internal SharePoint sites used across engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Recent College Graduate Engineers encouraged to apply (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
0+ years of experience.
Projects may require occasional travel including international
Establish networks across different areas both technical and functional
Proficient use of Microsoft products
Support the development of others.
