Cortland Housing Authority (CHA) Maintenance Mechanic in Cortland, New York
This work involves the participation in the efficient and economical maintenance and operation of the properties of the housing authority. Supervision is received from, the Maintenance Supervisor and his/her designee, with some leeway for making independent decisions on procedures to be followed in the completion of tasks. Does related work as required. Graduation from high school or GED and one year of full-time or its' part-time equivalent experience of general building maintenance or skilled trades. NOTE: Technical school, post secondary trade school, internships, and apprenticeships in any of the skilled trades may be substituted for experience.
