Description

SUMMARY:To fulfill all required maintenance needs as assigned, assuring all work is performed and completed in a safe and efficient manner. Perform multiple carpenter and maintenance tasks. Assist in many aspects of residential remodels, perform sheetrock repairs, basic electrical repair, appliance repair, and diagnostic, help with service-related tasks such as landscaping, lawn mowing, and driveway sealing. In addition, you will perform siding repairs, installs, deck repairs, deck staining, painting, and improve the appearance of residential homes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for facility, grounds, machinery and equipment maintenance in accordance with blueprints, manuals and codes.

  • Performs established preventative maintenance per month, to include quarterly fire system inspections and tests.

  • Adheres to assigned work schedule and work order system to assure maximum efficiency by completing emergency requests first, then oldest to newest requests.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma with 2 years’ experience in residential and light commercial applications. Maintenance mechanic experience including physical structure repair, machinery repair, electrical and plumbing. Valid NY State Driver License with 12 month driving experience.

Salary Description

$19.00 Hourly +DOE
