Robert Half SVP, Human Resources in Corona, New York

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an SVP, Human Resources in our non-profit organization based in Corona, New York. As a crucial part of our team, you will lead all aspects of Human Resources, including talent management, diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI), HRIS administration, compliance, labor relations, and learning and development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire HR function, providing strategic direction and day-to-day guidance

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, enhancing talent management practices

• Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

• Champion progressive HR practices and policies, setting new standards for the future of work

• Establish strong partnerships across the organization, delivering strategic HR leadership

• Drive high performance and foster collaboration by shaping an organizational culture that prioritizes DEI

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all HR practices

• Utilize ADP for financial services and workforce management

• Implement efficient hiring processes and maintain robust employee relations

• Manage HCM and benefit functions, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the non-profit sector

• Demonstrated expertise in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and HCM (Human Capital Management) systems

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions within a non-profit organization

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of audiences

• Experience in ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies

• Proven ability to manage employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

• Experience in developing and implementing effective hiring processes to attract and retain top talent.
