Robert Half Account Manager in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry for an Account Manager in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. This role will involve building relationships with both current and new customers, providing product advice and technical support, and preparing sales orders. The Account Manager will also be responsible for closing accounts, maintaining and improving quality results, developing quotations, and sourcing new sales opportunities. This role is 100% onsite in Moon Township and pays $22-$25 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain rapport with current and new customers

• Provide product advice and technical support to customers

• Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently

• Close accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries, and verifying and entering information into databases

• Maintain and improve quality results by following company standards, recommending improved processes, and troubleshooting and tracking problems

• Develop quotations in accordance with Company Policy based on identified sales strategy and information collected from customers or partners

• Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

• Suggest related and new items, explaining technical features, and comply with the Company’s Ethical Policy

• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes, new products and developments in the industry

• Work closely with Operations, CAD, Shipping, Sales, Finance and Management to effectively communicate all customer updates & forecasting, strategy, and timely preparation of weekly/monthly reports

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

• Utilize skills in Inside Sales and Inbound Outbound Calls for the benefit of the role.

Requirements • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in an Account Manager role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing both inbound and outbound calls.

• Strong competence in inside sales, including understanding customer needs and offering suitable solutions.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.

• Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.

• Strong communication and team management skills.

• Demonstrable ability to handle crises.

• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.

• Must be able to travel as needed.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location.
