Job Overview:Â Â

As a Vendor Relations Manager, you will be a partner to operations to implement, monitor, analyze, and manage all vendor-related projects including our vendor verification system (VIVE).This position will be the liaison betweenourbrand and all vendors who work with FirstService Residential and our clients. This position will work closely with all vendors, community management, accounting, and training on all vendor registration and compliance.ÂÂ

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

  • Set-up andmaintainvendor database for all East marketsÂ
  • Become a contact for vendors on registration and compliance with VIVEÂ
  • Influence and support community management to ensure a positive experience and compliance for VIVEÂ
  • Assistcommunity management with sourcing new and better vendors for key service areasÂ
  • Create a preferred vendor database andassistwith vendor support of company functionsÂ
  • Administer the VIVE Program including managing the database,assistingwith setting up new vendors, training managers, tracking activity, providing reporting, andassistingwith compliance. Lead the rollout of current vendors to VIVE.Â
  • Ensure all vendors meet compliance and regulatory requirementsÂ
  • Build and manage a set of Standard Operating Procedures for the vendor management systemÂ
  • Prepare reports on vendor management system by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsÂ
  • Administering the furniture sales programÂ
  • Assistingwith other vendor-related opportunitiesÂ
  • Oversee new vendor AP associatesÂ

Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

  • High School diploma or equivalencyrequired. Associates orBachelorsDegree in related field preferred.ÂÂ
  • 3+ yearspurchasingexperience, vendor relations, or project management.Â
  • Computer literacy: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft platforms, software, excel, and other internet applicationsÂ
