Clymer Central School has an anticipated opening for a Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Preferred experience with middle and high school students with content knowledge in ELA or Math.

Requirements

• NYS Teacher Certification - Students with Disabilities K-12, OR

• NYS Teacher Certification - Students with Disabilities Generalist 7-12

• Preferred NYS Content Certification in Math or ELA

• Ability to Communicate Effectively with students and parents

• Competent in Completing Assessments and Reporting as Appropriate

• Able to Write, Interpret and Administer IEP's

• Understand NYS mandates for Individual Education Plans

• Provide Instruction for SWDs Consistent with NYS Standards and NYS Regulations

• Preferred experience in Middle/High School and Transition planning.
