Job Title:Director of Maxwell Hall
Location:Clifton Springs, NY
Employment Type:Full-Time
Schedule:Tuesday - Friday 8a-4p, Saturday 10a-6p
Job Summary:
TheDirector of Residential Services – Maxwell Hallis responsible for overseeing the daily operations, compliance, and overall success of FLACRA’s residential programming. This leadership role ensures thedelivery of high-quality clinical care, adherence toprogrammatic goals, and regulatory compliance, while providing directsupport and supervisionto residential staff. The Director will developeffective partnerships, fosterteam collaboration, and maintain apositive work environmentaligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Required Qualifications:
Valid NYS Driver’s License.
- Minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health or a related field.
At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience
Proven ability to maintain high standards inprogram planning and performance.
Qualified Health Professional (QHP) status.
CASAC certification.
Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Human Services.
Experience in developing and implementing new programs.
Familiarity with community outreach, crisis response, and maintaining safety in the field.
Proven leadership and management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and administration.
Exceptional written and verbal communicationskills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skillsto navigate a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in behavioral health systemsand knowledge oflocal mental health and addiction recovery services.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
Ability tohandle crises with professionalism, ensuring client and staff safety.
Job Requirements:
Develop and upholdstandards of practicefor program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Ensure adherence toclinical and regulatoryguidelines in all aspects of thePart 820 Residential Program.
Oversee thescheduling and facilitation of individual and group therapy sessions, as well as provider appointments.
Ensure timely completion ofdaily, weekly, and monthly program tasks, including accuratedocumentation and reporting.
Monitor and evaluateprogram success through performance tracking, statistical data, and measurable outcomes.
Direct and supervisestaff performance, training, and clinical developmentto enhance service delivery.
Conductweekly clinical supervisionto ensure high standards of care and professional growth.
Recruit,screen, and interviewprospective staff members, fostering apositive work environment.
Assess stafftraining needsand coordinateprofessional development initiatives.
Provide structuredonboarding and orientationfor new hires, ensuring timely completion of training requirements.
Overseecare coordination workflowsto ensure smooth transitions for residents.
Develop and maintainstrong relationshipswith community groups, referral sources, and service agencies.
Represent FLACRA atmanagement meetings, community events, and provider collaborations.
Leadteam-building activitiesandmotivational staff engagementinitiatives.
Maintain and monitorstaffing schedules, ensuring alignment betweenscheduled and actual hours worked.
Participate inon-call rotationand respond appropriately tocrisis situationsto secure the well-being of clients and staff.
Ensureelectronic medical records (EHR)are maintained accurately and updated promptly.
Lead and contribute tomanagement meetings, offering insight into residential program development and strategic planning.
Conduct monthly program reviews to assess developments, achievements, and areas for growth.
Implement quality assurance measures to enhance program effectiveness.
Maintain required regulatory and agency-specific reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
