Located in the heart of Clifton Park, Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering a range of medical services including long-term care, memory care and med surg sub acute and 24-hour residential care.

What you will do:
- Responsible and accountable to utilizing the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individuals or groups.
Responsibilities:
On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
Perform assessments on elder's that may have had a fall, a decline in condition or perhaps suicidal comments
Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns
Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities
Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
What you will need:
Required:
A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
Associate’s degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school
1 year or more of recent experience as a RN ideally in a long-term care facility
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree of nursing
Registered Nurses at Schuyler Ridge must possess a passion for caring for patients and demonstrate a respectful, caring, professional demeanor
The RN Supervisor must be able to lead and supervise a team of different backgrounds and possess strong de-escalation skills.
The RN Supervisor must have excellent time management and organizational skills
The RN Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written and possess strong critical thinking skills to problem solve
Pay Range: 36.50-50.68 per hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
