Refrigeration Service Technician Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $24 to $27 depending on qualifications and experience Must be at least 18 years and older Position Description: As it pertains to the physical structure, equipment attached to said structure, and property, to maintain and repair the Building’s equipment as directed by the Facility Manager. To complete assigned PM’s and repairs as capable independently, or while working as part of team. Accurately troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and price out parts and equipment necessary for repairs of a variety of equipment including but not limited to commercial food equipment, refrigeration, etc. Maintaining an orderly shop, and general maintenance of work areas. Drain clearing and water jetting as necessary. Assisting with other aspects of the department as the FM sees fit. Qualifications: + Vocational/trade school degree and /or 1-3 years of experience + Basic knowledge of trades such as equipment repair, electrical, and refrigeration + Familiar with operation of power tools, welding, and equipment such as scissor lifts + Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, Internet research engines, OSHA 10 Certification What you bring to the team: + Ability to juggle multiple tasks; Flexibility in work schedule + Naturally inquisitive with a desire to learn and develop their skill set Your day-to-day: + Complete PM’s and repairs/ projects as assigned by the FM with supervision as necessary + Price out all repairs and maintain data logs of equipment repair history + Shop maintenance and cleaning as necessary, drain maintenance as required + Ability to travel from Paramus, NJ to Clifton, NJ as needed Examples of Daily Decision Making: + To repair or replace a piece of equipment based off of materials cost and new item pricing Supervisory Position: + No The roles and responsibilities as defined above are only a general guideline for this position and not intended to be all-inclusive.
