DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Food Service Worker 1, you will perform a variety of food service, food preparation, and sanitation tasks in the dietary operation on a rotational basis. Some of these duties include assembling the supplemental/nourishment/snack area by using current patient census for distribution to all patient units; preparing simple menu items such as broth and sandwiches, and be responsible for preparation of bagged meals as appropriate; and minor food preparation and service for special dietary catered hospital functions at the direction of the Food Service Supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with 30-minute lunch. The work schedule includes rotating days, every third weekend off, and holiday work as assigned. Travel and overtime as needed Hours and work schedule may change based on operational need. Free parking!
