Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Union County, NJ area. As the AP Clerk you will be handling invoice processing, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with vendors.

Responsibilities include:

• Efficiently process invoices and maintain updated records

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Communicate with vendors effectively to gather correct information

• Use Microsoft Excel for tasks such as V lookups and pivot tables

• Show proficiency in Coding Invoices and Data Entry

• Handle Check Runs and ensure all payments are made in a timely manner

• Utilize software such as SAP for various tasks

• Understand the nuances of supply chain, particularly the export side, including knowledge of customs documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar position

• Experience with Coding Invoices, assigning appropriate codes for accounting purposes

• Strong Data Entry skills, ensuring accurate input of financial information

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing, managing the payment of bills and expenses

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data
