LOCATION:Chili, NY

SUMMARY:Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.

Shift:12 hour Days (7am - 7pm)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.

  • Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.

  • Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed.

  • Clean HVAC vents.

  • Empty trash and recycle bins.

  • Stock and maintain supply rooms.

  • Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.

  • Clean and maintain restrooms.

  • Kitchen cleans out, service and stock coffee machines.

  • Refrigerators clean out.

  • Wash and clean windows and mirrors.

  • Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.

  • Dust furniture and fixtures.

  • Operate floor scrubbers and clean debris and dust on the production floor.

  • Clean outside perimeter of building of trash and debris

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED and acceptable prior work history.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Salary Description

$16 - $18/hr
