Job Description:

EVS technician will manage the activities of EVS staff to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and visitors . They also work to improve patient care and satisfaction.

EVS Technician Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee EVS staff

• Ensure a safe environment by reducing microorganisms

• Interact with patients, families, and visitors

• Help coordinate patient room cleaning

• Support department leadership

• Model customer service

• Act as a shift lead when a supervisor is unavailable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience in environmental services

• Experience as a floor care technician

• Prior lead experience

• Ability to multitask

• Attention to detail

• Effective communication skills

• Background clearance
