Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate:$28-$35/hr

Shift: Mon-Fri 11pm-7am

Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all safety and company policies, maintaining good housekeeping, and reporting any issues immediately.

• Completing monthly online safety training.

• Leveling and paralleling rolls, making necessary adjustments for optimal equipment performance.

• Conducting regular inspections to identify mechanical/electrical issues.

• Disassembling, repairing, and replacing bearings, seals, gears, etc.

• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical problems using precision maintenance techniques.

• Following up on work orders to ensure proper repairs.

• Performing maintenance functions and troubleshooting to prevent equipment downtime.

• Ensuring all equipment meets operational requirements.

• Collaborating with the maintenance crew on various projects including mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, and welding tasks.

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Proficiency in industrial computer systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.

• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLCs, and motors.

• Experience in maintenance, plumbing, electrical (manufacturing preferred), AC/DC motor control, and electrical wiring codes.

• Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.

• Excellent organizational skills and maintaining a clean working area.

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
