NY1499800 Operations and Production Manager Full time for Mohawk Ltd. in Chadwicks,NY. SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall development, planning and execution of all operational aspects of identified departments within the company with the main goal of maintaining and expanding growth of sales and increasing efficiency. Systematically implement operational actions to enhance the organizations Value Streams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership: * Leading by example with an emphasis on coaching and mentoring of staff with proactive communications that build rapport and mutual respect.
* Continue professional development and knowledge base related to position. * Analyze workflow to optimize efficient processes and procedures.
* Create and execute short and long range goals for respective departments and programs to ensure Mohawk Ltd.s profit growth and ongoing expansion of products and services. * Analyze operational strengths and weaknesses, execute operational changes as needed.
* Ensure systems serve marketing operational needs * Define, develop and execute any identified training programs needed to maintain and improve skill levels of staff. * Interface with Internal Staff/External Customers Quality: * Will be responsible for the oversight of the ISO and hold the title of ISO Management Representative. This title is responsible for the overall coordination of the quality program which includes: * Develop Quality Process and monitor compliance * Coordinate policies & procedures with departments. * Determine quality records for each department. * Supervise document control. * Coordinate meetings: Management Review, PAT and Auditors. * Conduct auditing program to ensure compliance. * Monitor warranty analysis & trends. * Conduct internal auditor training. * Coordinate ISO compliance audits with outside Auditor. * Follow up on recurring CARs. * Provide quality expertise to internal departments and external customers as needed. * Conduct problem investigation and analysis; provide solutions Direct ISO & Quality issues with management and staff. * Provide educational training on quality issues.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS: * Industry knowledge of light manufacturing, telecommunications, cable or utility markets. * Excellent Communication and organizational skills. * Ability to prioritize work with excellent multitasking abilities. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Departments: Production Departments, Facilities Supervisor ISO Management Representative: Quality Manager, Document Control Admin., Quality Control Inspector EDUCATION: AAS Degree in business administration or industry related field; or equivalent work experience required. Five years experience required with industry related experience preferred. Two years in a management capacity preferred. EQUIPMENT/MACHINES KNOWLEDGE: * Must have the ability to operate Microsoft Office Windows Software. * ACT Software PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must possess full sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function.
* Must be able to walk for moderate periods, reach, climb.
