Job Description

The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist will be the primary point of contact to support hiring managers with onboarding new employees. This role provides for an effective onboarding experience for both the hiring manager and new employee. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting new employees as they join the company, and help them learn policies, accessing company resources and answer questions related to the completion of pre-iring paperwork. The incumbent will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR Service Center.

Job Duties

  • Supports People Leaders with ordering IT equipment Liaison with new hire to ensure they know how to access company (SuccessFactors, ADP, HRServiceCenter, Global Information Hub, etc..) resources.

  • Ensure work location and necessary ID badges are ordered.

  • Ensure contingent workers are in SuccessFactors.

  • Audit data bi-weekly to ensure compliance with company policy.

  • Ensure new hires receive technical help for the set-up of hardware and software.

  • Looks for and implements continuous improvement in the onboarding and post onboarding process.

  • Explains company culture and values.

  • Collects and reviews (Culture Amp) feedback from new hire to improve the onboarding process.

  • Responsible for assisting new employees as they join the company, and help them learn policies, explain duties and or plan to join dates.

  • Provides reporting and project updates to HR Director and/or senior management Performs other duties as required.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in lieu of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources and/or administrative role.

  • Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.): Maybe required to work during non-core hours.

Preferred:

  • Supporting the onboarding of new employees in a medical device or other healthcare industry in different regions, preferred.

  • Knowledge of onboarding systems and Human Resources platforms such as SuccessFactors is a plus.

  • Highly developed interpersonal & communication skills and demonstrated ability to quickly develop effective and professional relationships with people at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

  • Strong administrative and project management skills with an exceptional eye for detail and time management.

  • Ability to manage competing demands with a strong focus on initiative while being flexible and adaptable when requirements change.

  • Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
