Employment Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people with barriers to employment in achieving their individual vocational objectives and establishing self-sufficiency in the community.Position Overview:We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to ensure a clean, safe environment at Picatinny Arsenal while meeting contractual obligations. This role involves training, supervising, and motivating individuals with disabilities to perform cleaning tasks in accordance with standards and expectations successfully. This is a full-time position that is expected to start on 4/1/2025.Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.Key Responsibilities:Supervise employees to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and government regulations.Establish a safe work environment and make necessary accommodations or recommendations.Assist the Project Manager in coordinating employees to meet daily contractual obligations.Transport employees to designated buildings.Provide timely feedback on employee performance.Communicate with building managers to ensure employee performance meets standards.Monitor supply usage across buildings.Provide individualized instruction and train employees on safely using chemicals, tools, and equipment.Collaborate with the Employment Support Professionals to make job accommodations and adaptations.Clean and maintain floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste following safety protocols.Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.Benefits:Employment Horizons values its team and offers a competitive benefits package, including:Generous paid time off.Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage.Additional perks and benefits to support your personal and professional growth.
