Inside Sales Representative

Description
The Inside Representative is responsible for maintaining and building strong relationships with existing and potential customer while supporting the Knowles Sales team, Manufactures Representatives, and Distributors. The role involves collaborating with global customer service, product management, and sales to drive growth, manage customer inquiries, and ensure exceptional sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate presales activities including but not limited to Request for Quote, Design Registrations, and Sample Requests
Work with RSM and product management teams to obtain authorized pricing based on customer strategy.
Utilize Knowles systems to analyze data and make informed decision related to annual contract negotiations, RFQs, and design registrations.
Nurture opportunities/leads through regular touchpoints, focusing on conversion to sales.
Support purchase order verification issues and credit/debit transactions.
Grow and nurture customer relationship on every interaction to drive sales by understanding customer needs
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts including but not limited to RFQ’s, quality complaints, sample requests, accounts receivable, etc.
Gain knowledge of assigned account organization and key decision makers
Collaborate with RSM on shared sales strategy and account coverage to drive market share growth within assigned account/territory.
Liaison with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Follow-up on quotes, lost business, and customer demand
Collaborate with RSMs and distributors to create a close loop process for tracking lost business.
Engage with end customers to understand business cycles and potential opportunities.
Analyze sales trends to maintain strong performance and address gaps.
Assist with forecasting and pipeline management.
Travel as needed to customers, manufacturing locations, rep and distributor offices.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
3+ years in customer support/sales
Excellent Communication skills are required due to customer interaction via phone, email and direct contact.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and shift priorities as necessary
Results oriented
Proficiency in MS Office and Windows. Microsoft Office
Fluent in English
Work time zone for assigned account/territory

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting pay for this role is targeted to be between $21.
