Description

Job Coachesin ourSupported Employment Programprovide support and skills-training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in an employment setting within the community (Carmel, Brewster, Mahopac, Patterson and Holmes.) This is an ideal role for a motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently and develop and foster relationships with our community partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must in this highly visible position.

A high school diploma/GED, a minimum of one year of working experience with persons with disabilities (which can include personal or professional experience or volunteering), and an acceptable NYS/CT driver's license are required. Must be van certifiable and have basic computer knowledge. We provide training for the certification indicated above.

HOURS: 40 hours weekly / Monday thru Sunday / must be flexible

Start Salary: $22.13 - $ 24.35 per ho ur

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

• One year of experience working with people with disabilities

• Acceptable NYS or CT driver's license

• Computer skills
