What would you do as our Receiving Clerk?

You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments. You would also verify received shipment contents, handle paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records while working closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure a smooth flow of good and return of non-conforming goods.

You would also:

  • Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.

  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.

  • Receive parts and components for production, including monitoring of consumption and providing alerts for reordering.

  • Document & report any discrepancies or damaged items.

  • Maintain records of all received goods.

  • Update systems and complete reports via Excel spreadsheets.

  • Organize and file receiving documents for easy access.

  • Update consumption records and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.

  • Coordinate closely with our Procurement Specialist to manage inventory efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate storage and organization of received items.

  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet our standards.

  • Report quality issues to appropriate departments for resolution.

  • Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Shipping & Receiving, and Production teams.

  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies throughout all operations.

  • Maintain a clean and safe receiving area.

    The Skills and Experience you need :

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution setting.

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Previous forklift experience and certification.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under tight time deadlines minimizing disruptions.

  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
