Apply now for immediate consideration to become the newest member of the American Water Family!Primary Role This is an intermediate and growing level of the job family where employees are assigned responsibility for performing moderately complex work solving a wider range of standard and non standard problems and to continue to build their skills in gathering and analyzing data concerning public utilities, and in reviewing utility applications. In this role they work under moderate to minimal supervision and may independently handle presentations at public meetings, preparing exhibits and testimony, and may be called upon to provide expert testimony in routine cases, or to research a portion of a case and testify to the findings.Certifications and Licenses * Active State Driver's License required with the ability to pass a motor vehicle report. Key Accountabilities * Research, monitor and track financial compliance & reporting requirements ensuring complete and full understanding and adherence of filing deadlines and submission requirements; serves as key contact to internal and external colleagues regarding questions, verifications and follow-up. * Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, cost allocations and presentations. * Create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately and completely. * Identify trends and developments in competitive environments; develop & deliver financial presentations as requested. * Perform financial forecasting, financial modeling and trend analysis. * Drive "financial best practice" by assessing and measuring the on-going effectiveness of existing business applications and technologies, e.g. SharePoint; build and develop financial process improvements. * Partner and liaise with internal and external colleges and functions to collect the individual pieces of data and information required by required filings and/or reports. * Assist in the formulation of corporate policies and procedures and compliance with suTo view the full job description, click here
