Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment Senior Manager, Group Sales in Camden, New Jersey
Position Responsibilities:
• Meet or exceed established annual revenue goals
• Establish ongoing training and career development platforms for the Group Sales department
• Recruit, onboard, and train a best-in-class team of Account Executives, Group Events
• Develop, lead and inspire a positive team culture focusing on cross collaboration
• Develop effective tracking and reporting tools to provide accountability towards revenue goals
• Establish department goals through effective business planning and a forward thinking vision
• Build positive relationships with clients and prospects via networking, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners, prospect sampling and seat visits at games, open houses at arena, and offsite meetings
• Participate in community and industry-related events, conferences, associations that enhance our reputation and potential for success while building new relationships with local, regional and national leaders
Qualifications (educational, experience and basic knowledge requirements):
• 5+ years of senior-level sales/service experience preferably with an understanding of the group sales business
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration/hospitality, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to write and communicate effective business plans
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo and related tools
