Position Overview

• Location: Carbon St, (Butler, PA 16001)
• Schedule: Tuesday,Thursday,Sunday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Transportation: You must have a reliable car, as the client's home may not be accessible by public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other hygiene-related tasks, as needed.
• Provide mobility support, ensuring safe transfers and encouraging light activity if appropriate.
• Meal Preparation & Light Housekeeping
• Prepare or assist with simple lunches and snacks.
• Keep the living area tidy, perform laundry duties, and maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
• Medication Reminders
• Help the client stay on track with any prescribed medication schedules (no medication administration required).
• Companionship & Engagement
• Offer conversation and empathy, engaging the client in hobbies or activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Documentation & Communication
• Note any significant changes in the client's behavior, appetite, or health and communicate these updates to the care coordinator.
