NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION: The Superintendent, Dr.Tonja M. Williams Knight, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
MUSIC TEACHERS – SUMMER ORCHESTRA CAMP
Hourly 3.5 hourly 8:45-12:15
Dates:
Teacher Set up July 11 (8:45-12:15)
Student Dates: July 14, 2024 – July 25, 2024 (8:45-12:15)
Clean up August 28 (8:45-12:15)MUSIC TEACHERS:

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a New York State certification in Music. Please attach a PDF or screen shot of their certification(s). DUTIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing support for small group lessons and large ensemble rehearsals, management of lesson schedules, maintenance of all related records including attendance, preparation of materials and resources, support student musicians in development of their music performance and theory skills, maintain positive relationships between all parties, overall safety of students, and family outreach to the fullest extent possible whenever necessary.
APPOINTMENT: Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials, and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
SALARY: As per BTF Contract/ Hourly FUND #: Pending Funding FINAL DATE FOR FILING: APRIL 22, 2025
