Buffalo Wire Works Recruitment and Administrative Assistant in Buffalo, New York
Responsibilities:· Actively search for and find candidates for open positions, focusing on outside sales positions and plant roles through job boards, community contacts, social media platforms, career fairs, industry events, and employee referrals.· Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring needs.· Develop and maintain relationships with communities, schools, and organizations to attract qualified applicants.· Review resumes and applications to evaluate applicants’ qualifications.· Conduct phone and in-person interviews, assessing key skills such as sales acumen for outside sales candidates and hands-on abilities for manufacturing roles.· Post job openings on appropriate job boards, industry-specific websites, and social media platforms to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.· General office tasks to assist with the day to day operations of the Company.· Assist with filing, organizing office supplies, ordering business cards, administrate work for trade shows, making travel arrangements for business travel, shipping supplies to employees, and support other employees in office work as needed.· Assist with basic financial tasks such as processing invoices, handling petty cash, or helping with accounts payable and accounts receivable if needed.· Other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:· Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment.· Established proficiency in using LinkedIn, Indeed and other social media and recruitment platforms.· Established Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment (printers, scanners, copy machines, shredders).· Excellent written and oral communication skills.· Ability to handle multiple recruitment needs simultaneously across sales, manufacturing, and office positions.· Excellent interpersonal skills to create strong relationships with candidates and external recruitment partners.· Travel domestically and internationally as requested by management.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Salary: 18.00 Maximum Salary: 22.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
