Quality Assurance Manager in Food Science

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager is directly responsible for providing proactive leadership and instruction in Food Safety and Quality Assurance. This role drives food safety and quality policies through risk assessment and implementation of requirements, policies, procedures, programs, and training components of the food safety and quality systems. The position serves as the lead for product recall execution and communications, handles regulatory requirements and inspections, and interacts with customers on food safety and quality issues. This role facilitates document control, supports tracking and communication of Food Safety and Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and collaborates with various departments to provide leadership and expertise in food safety and quality matters.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lackawanna, New York.

he shift will be M-F 7:30AM-5PM with additional days when needed.
