Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products meet specifications by comparing them with parts lists, blueprints, and sample models.

  • Verify dimensions using appropriate test equipment and procedures.

  • Identify and document rejected parts.

  • Test products for structural integrity.

  • Maintain detailed records of defects and rejections.

  • Conduct inspections using statistical sampling plans as needed.

  • Assist in training new technicians.

  • Maintain a clean work area.

  • Interact with customers and assist engineers in root cause analysis.

  • Monitor inspections to ensure compliance with quality processes.

  • Recommend improvements to Quality Assurance processes and standards.

  • Communicate necessary changes to audits/inspections with supervisors and PMT groups.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes).

  • Proficiency in measurement techniques, including reading scales, using calipers, and micrometers.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, including converting fractions and decimals.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
