Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design, specify, and commission control systems. Responsibilities include designing electrical schematics and other project documents using AutoCAD, Excel, and Word, onsite and remote PLC programming, delivering training to end-user customers, and providing direct technical support. Candidates will efficiently manage multiple active projects and develop quotes for new sales and service opportunities. This role requires up to 30% travel to customer sites, both domestic and internationally.
Hard Skills
Experience with large motors and conveyor systems
PLC programming on a large scale
Ability to make online edits on PLC program RS Logic 500 or 5000
Experience with creating, reading, and interpreting electrical schematics
Experience as a project engineer or with OEM or Distributor
Experience on the applications side with VFD's or Drives
Experience working with VPNs
Experience with the full turnkey process
Soft Skills
Ability to deliver training
Strong technical support skills
Excellent customer service orientation
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Buffalo, New York.
