We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Mechanic who can maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in our clients Buffalo, NY plant.This local employer believes in their employees and sharing their success by providing a great working environment, 401K on Day 1, PTO, medical, life insurance + non-discretionary bonuses based on the company's success!Duties include but are not limited to:Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools/ systems and production machines.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintain facility groundsRequired Skills:Must be able to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specificationsTrouble-shoot malfunctionsSkilled with using various hand and power toolsAble to assist production when neededExperience / Physical Requirements:Minimum of at least 3 years industrial maintenance experienceMust be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as neededExperience with repairing spraying/painting machines is a plusExperience with Preventative MaintenanceExperience in a production setting is a plusExperience with welding and fabricating, hydraulics, electrical and pneumaticsProficient with computer programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google, etc.Ability to stand, walk, sit, stretch, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and use your hands to handle or feelAny documented certifications/safety training is a plusGood verbal communication is essentialBi-lingual in Spanish, French, Burmese, Swahili or French a plusCapable of lifting 50lbs or moreIf you feel this is the right position for you, we encourage you to apply today and call 716-630-7008 for more information!
