Summary: Processes requests for the intake and release of Pathology material for internal or external review/testing. Handles correspondence requests for the tracking/status of material requests via phone, mail, fax, and information system requests.

Salary range is $41,399 - $50,884 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree in a Healthcare discipline; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
3. High School Diploma or equivalency and two (2) years of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology or customer service.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:

  • Previous/current experience in a clinical/medical office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous/current customer service experience in a clinical/medical office setting
  • Professional writing skills: Procedures, workflows, job aids
