The Maintenance Dispatcher serves as the primary liaison for facilities-related service requests and assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the property portfolio for Evergreen Health and its affiliates.

This position reports directly to the AVP of Facilities and Emergency Management, who shall determine the responsibilities of this position.

As part of the essential functions of this role, the Maintenance Dispatcher :

  • Answers and directs calls from the facilities service line to the appropriate contact within the facilities team and/or dispatches personnel based on immediate needs

  • Creates and schedule work orders, maintenance calls, and service calls

  • Monitors and manages online facilities ticketing system, dispatching, and assigning work orders as needed

  • Provides updates and communication to clients regarding the status of work orders and service calls via the ticketing system, email, or phone. Communicates with other departments, and establishes positive relationships with key contacts

  • Keeps Facilities shared calendar up to date

  • Creates preventative maintenance work orders

  • Orders office/kitchen supplies for facilities department

  • Serves as the backup to Facilities, Maintenance, and Cleaning personnel as needed

    Qualified candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience. The candidate must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, patients, board members, vendors and other external contacts. Candidate will have a positive and team-oriented attitude with excellent customer services skills. Candidate will have excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and a strong attention to detail. Candidate will have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds without restriction. The ability to handle sensitive material, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, and displaying sound judgment is essential. Candidate must be proficient with computers and MS software (Outlook, Word) preferred. Candidate will demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to the issues that underserved populations, people living with HIV, and people who use drugs face, including health disparities that affect people of color at a disproportionate rate.

    Required education/experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least two (2) years related experience.
