Position Summary:
The Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences (https://dental.buffalo.edu/departments/oral-diagnostic-sciences.html) at the University at Buffalo is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor.
As a faculty member, you will have the following responsibilities:
Engage in leadership activities related to the Special Needs Clinic and Services.
Clinical and didactic teaching at the pre- and post- DDS levels in Special Needs
Research service activities, and patient care at the Special Needs Clinic
Act as leading facilitator in higher education in Special Needs and lnter-professional education
Provide supervision and lectures in clinical courses for DDS and post graduate students in the field
Demonstrate proficiency in the diagnosis and treatment in the field of Special Needs.
Produce scholastic activity in the field of Special Needs
Experience in educational innovation, use of technology in education, and computer skills are expected.

Minimum Qualifications:
DDS or DMD or equivalent degree
Eligibility for unrestricted New York State license
Minimum of one year of experience providing patient care in the field of Special Needs
Minimum of one year of experience in academic and/or clinical teaching.
Minimum of one year experience/training in hospital dentistry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research experience in the field of Special Needs
