Summary:

The Administrative Assistant IV will be responsible for coordinating office processes, providing communication and operational support for Senior Vice President, Physician Service & Support, Vice President Physician Integration & Practice Management, Vice President Cardiac Practice and Director, Physician and Mid-Level Recruitment. Will directly assist the Senior Vice President, Physician Service & Support in daily operations of Physician Enterprise to meet organizational goals, including maintaining the flow of information for the effective functioning of the office. Will provide support Physician Enterprise (PE) Council and PE Committee.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Associate's Degree required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) years' experience in a health related facility, preferably acute care

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Ability to work as a member of Physician Enterprise in support of CH initiatives

  • Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency with time sensitive assignments

  • High resilience and tolerance of ambiguity and resistance to stress

  • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects simultaneously

  • Ability to think logically and adapt to changing scenarios in the prioritization of work

  • Ability to relate to customers at all levels

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

  • Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database

  • Uses independent judgment in completing work and operates under general supervision

  • Excellent proof reading skills

  • Proficiency in recording and producing meeting minutes, business correspondence and other related documents

  • Ability to work in a confidential and professional environment

  • Strong organizational and follow through skills

  • Candidate needs to be highly motivated and demonstrates initiative to organize and find efficient solutions to achieve optimal workforce performance

  • Must possess good organizational skills and exercise tact and diplomacy in frequent dealings with departments/physicians within the hospital and with outside agencies
