Position Summary:

The Jacobs School of Medicine ( JSMBS ) and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Medicine (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/departments/medicine.html) , is currently seeking qualified clinical educators for full-time positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for our Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/departments/medicine/divisions/endocrinology.html) based at our ambulatory and major affiliated teaching hospitals.

Position Summary:

  • Serve as attending physician for inpatient and ambulatory services

  • Consultation and follow-up of patients

  • Expected to conduct clinical research

  • Teach fellows, residents, and medical students

  • Excellent teaching is an essential criterion for appointment to this position.

  • Perform public and University service

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, Or equivalent degree required

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NY

  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
