Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Brogue, Pennsylvania. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with ensuring the accurate reconciliation and reporting of business accounts, auditing financial records, and providing financial insights to management.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze accounting data to provide insightful financial reports to management.
• Compile and analyze account information to prepare entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and document financial transactions.
• Evaluate accounting options and scenarios to recommend financial actions.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and additional reports to summarize current financial status.
• Audit documentation to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Develop and recommend policies and procedures to maintain and enhance accounting controls.
• Guide and coordinate activities of accounting staff and address their queries.
• Collect and analyze account information to resolve financial discrepancies.
• Perform regular database backups to secure financial information.
• Adhere to internal controls to maintain financial security.
• Ensure all payment documentation meets compliance standards and verify payments.
• Interpret policies and regulations to address accounting procedure inquiries.
• Monitor legislation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and advise management on necessary actions.
• Analyze and summarize trends and account information to develop specialized financial reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information to protect company operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Should be able to handle Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is needed
• Must be adept at making Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Must have experience with Month End Close processes
• Experience with NetSuite is highly beneficial
• Oracle knowledge is required
• Familiarity with SAP is a necessity
• QuickBooks experience is advantageous
