Salesforce Technology Sales Lead – Healthcare

Location: East Coast

About the Role:

We are seeking an expert Salesforce Technology Sales Leader with deep expertise in the Healthcare industry. This role is responsible for driving Salesforce technology Sales, solutions adoption, running strategic healthcare accounts, and leading go-to-market initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of Salesforce platform knowledge, enterprise sales experience, and a deep understanding of healthcare industry challenges and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive Salesforce Services Sales in the healthcare sector, focusing on providers and payers organizations.

Industry Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR), trends, and challenges to align Salesforce solutions with customer needs.

Solution Selling: Lead consultative sales discussions, demonstrating how Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and AI-driven solutions can improve patient engagement and operational efficiency.

Client Engagement: Build and manage relationships with CXOs, IT leaders, and decision-makers to influence digital transformation initiatives.

Strategic Growth: Identify new business opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive revenue growth in the healthcare vertical.

Partnerships & Alliances: Work closely with Salesforce to co-sell and deliver integrated solutions.

Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences, showcasing Salesforce’s impact on healthcare.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in technology solutions, with at least 5+ years passionate about Salesforce in healthcare.

  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex, consultative sales cycles.

  • Good understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and AI capabilities.

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare workflows, EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner, etc.), and compliance requirements.

  • Experience in leading large enterprise accounts and engaging with senior leaders.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Health Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Certified Technical Architect) are a plus.

  • Background in healthcare IT, digital transformation, or cloud-based SaaS solutions.

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $170,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
