Gateway Community Action Partnership Lead Program Coordinator in Bridgeton, New Jersey

JOB FUNCTION: Efficiently assist the Lead Program Manager with tasks originating from or involving this office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Oversight of three (3) intake specialists (one each in Cumberland, Salem and Gloucester counties) * Review intake and client applications * Arrange for temporary relocation of households when necessary to ensure health of household members * Coordinate moderate levels of repair when necessary in combination with LRA work (potentially coordinating with Gateway's WAP office) * Meet office needs such as answering the phone, assisting in scheduling of LRA activities, responding to complaints, filing, faxing, copying * Keep a waiting list of potentially eligible clients * Assisting the Program Manager in all aspects of the LRA program The preceding examples are representative of the assignments performed by this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: As assigned by Lead Hazard Control manager. QUALIFICATIONS: * Associates Degree or some college completed * Personal computer and word processing skills * Strong oral and written communication * Strong organization skills * Ability to work effectively with clients and the public. Ability to convey a positive and professional image to clients and public * Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) speaking preferred
