Description

We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bridgeton, New Jersey. In this role, you will perform a variety of accounting functions, focusing primarily on processing accounts payable and journal entries. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process accounts payable transactions

• Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and record keeping

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in all financial data

• Handle account coding tasks with precision and accuracy

• Oversee accrual accounting tasks to ensure timely and accurate reporting

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in account coding techniques

• Experience with various accounting software systems is required

• Must be skilled in various accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory

• Knowledge of accrual accounting is needed

• Previous experience in auditing is a plus
