Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Supervisor (Maintenance Supervisor) who will be an integral part of the leadership team for our manufacturing factory. This leader will primarily work on day shift and will help to cover as required based on the needs of the factory.

Key responsibilities include:

• Immerse yourself as a key member of the Technical (Maintenance) Leadership Team and overall Factory Leadership Team.

• Take responsibility for Factory Technical Operations, to include planned & unplanned maintenance on the production lines, support equipment and utility equipment.

• Lead Planned/Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program. Drive PM execution improvements and achievement of KPI targets.

• Coach, mentor and develop Maintenance Mechanics to meet current and future business needs.

• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including the integration of LEAN & 5S manufacturing principles.

• Conduct failure mode & effect analysis on targeted machine centers.

• Utilize our Manufacturing Framework 10 Operating Principles, founded on the dedication of our People and commitment towards the Planned Maintenance Program, to successfully meet/exceed Factory Objectives.

• Build collaborative relationships with team members across all areas of the Factory to include Maintenance, Operations, Quality, Warehouse, Safety, Planning and others.

• Understand, adhere to, and apply internal/external regulations, procedures, GMP standards & policies to ensure the safe production of a quality product for our customers.

• Effectively communicate to Team Members, Factory Leadership, Corporate Support Teams, and Contractors, both verbally and in written correspondence.

• Review daily KPI’s to identify short-term opportunities and work across Factory Departments to drive long-term performance improvements.

• Lead root cause analysis of unplanned downtime events. Develop and implement action plans to reduce/mitigate/eliminate failure modes.

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology. In place of an engineering or technology degree, equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

• Five or more years of experience in industrial maintenance with at least two years’ experience in leadership capacity.

• Prior experience in a beverage, food or other clean manufacturing environment with familiarity with quality, GMP and hygiene regulations preferred.

• Experience maintaining/troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems.

• Experience supporting and utilizing PLC control systems and process communication systems. Allen Bradley experience a plus.

• Knowledge of Planned/Preventative Maintenance programs with a grasp of financial factors in maintenance, to include budgeting and Storeroom Inventory Control.

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite applications and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems; SAP experience preferred.

• Proven technical troubleshooting acumen and problem-solving skills.

• Continuous improvement or process improvement experience preferred.

• Effective communication/presentation skills with the ability to facilitate team meetings and lead management of change events.

• Practiced & effective time management and organization skills.

• Ability to develop relationships with business partners.

• Experience coaching and developing maintenance mechanics/technicians.

• Schedule flexibility with the ability to provide guidance to the Maintenance Team for escalated significant breakdowns to include on-site support outside normal working hours.
