We are currently looking for a Electronic Technician for our Central Maintenance department in our manufacturing facility in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. Our Electronic Technicians are part of a highly skilled team that is critical to ensuring large industrial equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production and to consistently meet production goals.

Electronic Technicians perform all maintenance functions (mechanical or electrical/electronic) necessary to maintain all operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment including mobile equipment as required.

In order to become successful, you’ll have to quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing equipment/systems, and our maintenance program. A successful Electronic Technician is a problem-solver and strong with troubleshooting, determining corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to enhance production efficiencies without compromising quality. Workplace safety is a core value and Electronic Technicians play a vital role in our safe operation and processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Obey all plant safety rules and procedures at all times. Including wearing proper PPE.

  • Respond to breakdowns and make repairs to minimize downtime

  • Provide direction to hourly employees (repairmen and crafts)

  • Provide training on equipment to other employees

  • Develop and maintain record keeping for spares and parts used for maintaining the equipment

  • Maintain and update prints

  • Proficiency in operating computer and programmable logic controllers

  • Develop ideas to improve equipment reliability

As a Electronic Technician, you will be required to work in a variety of plant areas/departments, environmental conditions (hot, cold, dirty, etc.), and perform work at various heights and within some confined spaces.

As part of our Union Maintenance Team, you must be willing to work all shifts in our 24/7 operation. Based on the need, overtime may be available including other shifts and weekends. As part of pre-employment, a mechanical maintenance skills assessment will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in a Technical or Electronics Field

OR

  • 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualification:

  • Supervisory experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability

  • Effective communication skill with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Strong ability to work independently without direction, and as part of a team

  • Analytical skills requiring the ability to apply mathematical formulas and equations

  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of power systems and DC crane controls is a plus
