Rehabilitation Director

Shift: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Directing, organizing and evaluating rehabilitation programs services and personnel in his/her region, in a manner that supports the goals of our Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, while maintaining federal and state regulations the state specific practice acts for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

  • Conducts the planning and budget formation for all equipment, supplies and staff related to the department to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

  • Current license as Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist in NY is required.

  • Current CPR certification required.

  • Three years’ experience in a long-term care/geriatric care therapy management preferred.

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Demonstrates effective time management skills.
