SKANSKA Project Manager in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

  • Manages the overall project direction, completion, and financial outcome and administers both the owner and subcontractor relationships for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff.
  • Manages and/or coordinates company personnel and resources.
  • Assists with preconstruction efforts.
  • Manages all aspects of project from inception.
  • Prepares and executes Project Execution Plan.
  • Prepares trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversees procurement process.
  • Oversees performance of project including project status, schedule, cost control, and change management systems.
  • Develops initial outline schedules, manages monthly schedule updates, develops and implements recovery schedules (as necessary), and evaluates subcontractor installation schedules for accuracy.
  • Enhances and maintains relationships with clients, designers, consultants, and internal Skanska clients.
  • Attends and leads project meetings including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award.
  • Reviews inspection and test data for compliance with specifications.
  • Develops and maintains site logistics plan in coordination with Superintendent.
  • Sets-up QAQC procedures and conducts quality inspections.
  • Demonstrates commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others and enforces IFE program on projects.
  • Leads internal cost meetings.
  • Supervises multiple concurrent projects for various clients.
  • Oversees direct reports performance and supports growth opportunities.
  • Works alongside and coordinates with local municipalities and governance constraints, compliance, and logistics.
  • Trains and mentors new hires and direct reports.
  • Prepares a listing of the required project submittals. Maintains the project logs including RFI's, submittals, change orders, contingency, and allowance logs.

     

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related. 

     

  • Must have 5 years of progressive experience in construction project engineering or management roles in the building construction industry, to include experience the full life cycle of subcontractor management

     

  • Must have 4 years of experience performing the following:

     

  • Procore document controls

  • Reading and understanding Blueprints and Project Design documentation

     

  • Must have 2 years of experience with the following:

     

  • Utilizing experience with LEED and Green Build

  • Utilizing lump sum and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP)
  • Utilizing experience with renovation and new construction processes.
  • Utilizing experience with local construction regulations.
  • Supervising multiple concurrent projects for various clients.
  • Performing Estimating and buyout.
  • Managing project budgets throughout project lifecycle and budgeting for subcontracted work.
  • Utilizing experience with BIM360, BlueBeam, Revu, Auto CAD, and Revit.
  • Utilizing experience working in higher education construction
  • Utilizing experience working in Healthcare construction

     

  • Must be a Certified Procore Associate.

  • Must hold Infection Control Risk Assessment (IRCA) for Healthcare Construction certification.
  • Must be available for daily and/or weekly domestic travel to undetermined customer and/or company locations as required.
