Responsible for general maintenance as requested by Plant Manager; repairs walls by plastering, spackling and painting; provides plumbing and electrical repairs; replacement of windows and tile repairs; general carpentry work.•Responsible for general maintenance of Agency sites.•Skilled in repairing walls and ceilings using sheetrock, plaster, spackling and painting.•Skilled in providing minor electrical and plumbing repairs.•Skilled in the installation, repair, and replacement of windows, doors, tile work, cabinetry, and drop ceilings.•Skilled in providing repairs to household appliances•Assist in the general overall needs of the department as directed•Assist in other areas / facilities when requested.•Ability to interact with and complete assignments in a manner sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.•Ability to read and write English, general knowledge of maintenance and construction trades•Ability to carry and lift moderate loads (50 lb. max.).
