Pennsylvania State Job Bank Electromechanical Engineer in Blandon, Pennsylvania
Electromechanical Engineer (Giorgio Foods Inc., Blandon, PA): Devising solutions for electrical and mechanical problems to manufacturing equipment with highly complicated components; Performing electrical and mechanical repairs to manufacturing equipment with highly complicated components; Troubleshooting the breakdown of overlapping engineering systems and applications to assist with repairing sophisticated manufacturing equipment in an industrial production facility. Equipment. These systems include but are not limited to: Electrical control systems, Automated vision inspection systems, and Correct compound applications; Leveraging electro-mechanical engineering expertise in support of the overall production environment; Ensuring the execution and improvement of the preventive maintenance through regular performance testing of electro-mechanical components and other constituent engineering systems and applications; Testing equipment performance and recalibrating individual and systemic components to meet the company's and industry Quality Standards; Complying with all safety procedures, addressing any safety concerns, and upholding industry and Company standards for Good Manufacturing Practices; Documenting all repairs and accounting for all tools, parts, and housekeeping; Designing mechanical parts through CAD software and operation of 3D printing machines; and Navigating computer software system in order to troubleshoot specific issues with PLCs, electronic devices and variable frequency drives VFDs. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience working with and solving problems with electrical, mechanical and mechatronic systems; Experience with design and calculations of electrical installations; Experience with electrical panel installations, including wiring, PLC, power control and electronic devices; Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems; Experience with repair and improvement of highly automated systems; Experience with mechanical design and use of CAD tools such as Solidworks and Autocad; Experience with set up and operation of 3D printing machines; Knowledge of Studio 5000 PLC programming software; and Experience with project control software and documentation of maintenance activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electromechanical Engineering or related field, and at least two years of experience as an Electromechanical Engineer or related occupation.
