Job Description

General Summary:       

    • Will be responsible for electrical fabrication, testing and repair of sub-assemblies, full assemblies and printed circuit cards.
    • Assemble, tests and repairs precision electromechanical parts, assemblies and equipment.
    • Examines parts for defects, aligns, fits and assembles parts into completed units.
    • Knowledge of J-Std-001 class soldering circuit boards.

       Essential Job Functions:

    • Perform tasks necessary in the testing of circuit cards and electronic assemblies.
    • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, specifications and technical.
    • Must be able to interpret test results and relate them to specific areas of the assembly to inspect for defects.
    • Perform analysis of data to check and verify applicability, practicality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
    • Must understand equipment acceptance test process set up for each product.
    • Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, luminance light meters, signal generators, fixtures, templates and specific equipment utilized in the manufacturing of displays.
    • Solder, assemble cables assemblies and assemble electrical and mechanical parts in specific location on various sub-assemblies and completed assemblies.
    • Understand the function of SBC hardware, Ethernet networking and BIOS manipulation.
**Qualifications** Education and Training:
    • Associate's degree in electronics or Technical Training Institute certification or equivalent years of experience
    • Experience in a related OEM industry preferred
    • All employees are required to complete ESD, Hazard communication and safety training.    
Certifications:
    • ANSI IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standard preferred
    • J-STD 001 Solder Workmanship Standard preferred

       Technical Requirements:

    • Technical Institute Certification electrical engineering a plus
    • Must be able to solve complex problems without assistance from others.
    • Strong technical communications skills required. 

Experience:

    • 5+ years experience

Physical Requirements:

    • Good eyesight, with or without glasses.
    • Ability to discriminate colors on wires and color codes of components.
    • Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 30lbs.
