i3 Technology Group Quality Supervisor in Binghamton, New York

Quality Supervisor - Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and regulating the Quality Team in their performance of delegated duties and oversee daily activities. The Quality Supervisor reports directly to the Quality Manager. To excel in this key role, you must be able communicate clearly. ESSENTAL FUNCTIONS: Monitors and guides daily quality inspection processes. Drives a culture of Quality and Teamwork. Responsible for finished product and raw material testing procedures and protocols at manufacturing. With assistance from the Quality Manager, develops implements and reviews quality programs and procedures. Works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and other departments to drive Quality goals and initiatives. Serve as communication liaison between manufacturing and the Quality Team to coordinate timely and accurate inspection and testing. Plans and supervises Quality improvements and productivity exercises as required. Monitors and controls in-process audits on the production floor. Assists the Quality Manager in administering and monitoring Corrective Action activities. Assists during ISO/AS and customer audits. Works closely with Document Control to assure all QMS procedures and work instructions are up to date and current. Supports customer return issues as required. Assists in RMA creation, implementation. Coordinates with Receiving Inspection to receive and expedite materials to the floor and process returns. Coordinates Training activities with Manufacturing as required. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: ISO/AS9100 experience AS9102/PPAP experience (preferred). Team player. Bring people together to cooperatively solve problems. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent listening and collaboration skills. Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Prior experience/exposure to high volume manufacturing (preferred). Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines and to work in a team environment. Office skills (Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint). EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Applicable experience in Cable and/or Board processes preferred. Must be a US Citizen. Applicable experience in a Quality environment. WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE: e No special clearances required.
