The Freelance Events Coordinator represents News12 at local key community events of all different sizes throughout NY, NJ, and CT. This role serves as an organized, detail-oriented liaison for our news organization and the communities we serve. Represents N12 with the utmost professionalism and provides a positive experience to our viewers.
- Setup booths at various events.
- Travel withinthe tri-state area.
- Responsible for the positive engagement with our viewers during community events.
- Setup table and hands out giveaway items.
- Takephotos at events for use on social media.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with superior relationship building skills
- Outgoing/friendly personality
- Clean/Neat appearance
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to take photos/videos with phone
- Social media skills, preferred
- Availability on weekends and nights
- Knowledge of News 12 talent and programming a plus
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $37,500.00-$61,607.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
