DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In the position, you will primarily be responsible maintenance, custodial, and repair tasks at the Centre Regional Office and at the H.R. Stackhouse School of Fishery Conservation and Watercraft Safety, both located in Bellefonte, PA. You will also contribute to the maintenance of other Commission-owned properties throughout Maintenance Area 5, a multi-county region across north- and south-central Pennsylvania, headquartered in Centre County. Work follows a routine schedule which involves working as part of a team, using tools and materials safely, taking the initiative to fix items that need to be maintained, and communicating clearly with other staff and the public. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Occasional weekend work, with advanced notice provided, may be required. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Necessary Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license which is not under suspension.
Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
