Description We are in search of a Database Technology Manager to become an integral part of our team in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The focus of this role is to manage the planning, acquisition, design, and system build phases of our global informatics systems and programs, including ETL and integrations. The successful candidate will be expected to lead enterprise level technical projects and provide technical leadership for project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, definition, acquisition, design, and system build phases of our global informatics systems and programs.

• Oversee the development and implementation of ETL and integrations.

• Lead enterprise level technical projects to ensure homogeneity within IT.

• Collaborate with technical and business leaders to ensure business continuity and unified direction.

• Serve as a knowledge source for Informatics on systems development, providing technical leadership for project teams.

• Interface between the business and the technology providers to deliver R& D information applications solutions.

• Establish strategic vendor management relationships and governance.

• Develop strategic application product roadmaps to meet business objectives.

• Lead the definition of solutions based on business needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications/systems/platforms.

• Collaborate with project teams to analyze solution needs and produce preliminary solution designs and architectural diagrams.

• Lead technical feasibility discussions, prototype development, and design efficient, adaptable, and scalable architectures in accordance with company policies, regulatory standards, and integration methodology.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Database, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, Oracle, Oracle 10g

• Experience in AB Testing, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, Database Administration, Data Warehousing. Requirements • Proficient in database technologies.

• Experience with EO/IR systems.

• Familiarity with Linux Technologies.

• Deep understanding of Oracle and Oracle 10g.

• Knowledge in AB Testing.

• Experience with Backup Technologies.

• Proficiency in Configuration Management.

• Expertise in Database Administration.

• Experience in Data Warehousing.

• Ability to handle technical issues and provide optimal solutions.

• Excellent communication and team management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.

• Proven track record of managing complex database structures.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
